 Big Day Weddings and the owners have been in the wedding, event planning and rental business since 1994. Started as an event planning business, Specialty Events was formed to service the needs of companies in the Atlanta area. After the owners were asked to take over planning a destination wedding of a relative they recognized there was a need for quality planning and coordination services for weddings. They decided to expand their business to include destination beach wedding planning and coordination services.

The company now concentrates on destination beach weddings and have locations in Destin, Orange Beach and Atlanta. The company provides wedding services in the Destin/Fort Walton/Navarre Beach areas from our Destin location and the Orange Beach/Gulf Shores/Perdido Key areas from our Orange Beach location.

Big Day Weddings has built a reputation for excellence, professionalism and creativity. We are a full service coordination firm, handling all aspects of your destination weddings along the Alabama Gulf Coast and the Florida Panhandle.

Our firm uses and recommends only proven vendors for all of our services. These services include ceremony site selection, lodging recommendations, photography, floral and décor, reception locations, catering, bakery, transportation and a host of other services not listed above. We will handle all the logistics of the wedding so all the bride and groom have to do is relax and enjoy their Big Day Wedding.
